COSHH Awareness and Assessment
Description and objective: It sets out the steps that will enable
delegates to conduct suitable assessments, implement adequate control
measures and establish good working practices. It describes the effects
that hazardous substances can have on the human body, the routes of entry
into the body and the precautions required to prevent it. It describes how
to formulate an 'action plan' to meet the requirements of COSHH. The
course explains the difference between a MSDS and an Assessment and
explains why both need to be in place to control the risks.
