Course programme

During the first year of your Foundation degree you will study: Business and the Workplace Introduction to Habitats Landscape Evolution and Interpretation Practical Conservation Skills Biological Classification Optional Units include: Plant and Soil Science Applied Field studies During the second year of your degree you will study: Research in the Workplace Experimental Design and Analysis Academic and Professional Development Environmental Science Optional units include: Conservation and Tourism Agriculture and Conservation The course is delivered through a range of taught lectures, tutorials and seminars, with some modules including elements of blended learning. Field trips and visits form part of the curriculum, and in some cases are linked to assignments.
