Entry Requirements
Candidates must have completed the CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling or an equivalent qualification of at least 420 guided learning hours at diploma level 4. Entry through APL available at disrection of course coordinator and awarding body.
This qualification is for candidates who are already working as counselling practitioners and who want to develop their skills in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and use these skills as an integral part of their work. Trainees are expected to be working with clients within a professional framework in order to apply their learning on this course and to meet the assessment requirements.
Successful completion of course will enable candidates to apply for OU Foundation Degree in Counselling.
