CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling

This qualification is intended for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who wish to gain a high level, professional and nationally recognised qualification in supervision.

This programme will be delivered over 2 evenings per month and will explore the multi-purpose of supervision and will draw from an intergrative model. It covers theoretical framework for supervision and the skills necessary to the practice of supervision itself. Candidates may be therapists who wish to develop their work to become a supervisor or it may be that you are currently supervising with minimal or no formal training.

We appreciate that some supervision courses are extremely demanding of both finances and time, so we have worked hard to develop a competative package that offers a realistic alternative that will support therapists to grow and develop into well qualified, confident and effective supervisors without burning you out in the process.

As well as competing the written work requirements of the course, you must complete:

• 15 supervision hours with a supervisee
• 5 hours of supervisory supervision
