Details:

• For experienced worker assessments, the candidates must have 2 years experience on the machine; they must be over 21 years of age and worked within the industry for three years.
• All candidates must produce a valid driving licence for road mobile plant.
• Two passport photographs will be required.
• If you have undertaken the CITB Safety test (Touch Screen Test), a copy of the confirmation letter will be required.
• Classroom facilities are required, drying rooms etc are not suitable.
• Any site permits (i.e. permit to dig) required to undertake tests are to be available. The site facilities, different for every plant category and available upon request, must be met; otherwise the assessment cannot take place.
• All machines are to be fully serviceable and have the operator handbooks available.
• A dedicated practical assessment area, free from other personnel and works must be provided to meet the CPCS Standards.
