Course Content:
You will study the following Units. C1- Quality: Customers, Clients and Markets. To include Organisation's Quality Policy and Objectives; Customer Focus; Management and Supervision; Total Quality Management; Quality Gurus. C2 - Quality: Principals of Data Analysis. To include Data Collection/Presentation; Variability; Statistical Process Control; Reliability. C3 - Quality: Models, Standards and Laws. To include Standardising Organisations and Regulatory Bodies; Quality Management Systems / Models; Inspection, Audit and Assessment; Law.

Other Information:
This course is intended to give a broad understanding of the different concepts and approaches to Quality and how they can be related to manufacturing and service industry and to business situations. You can study this course if you are working in either the service sector or in the manufacturing industry. Assessment of the course is by 2 assignments (1 each for units C1 and C2) and by a written exam (for unit C3). Students who are successful in all 3 units are automatically awarded the CQI Level 3 Certificate in Quality but each unit may be studied individually.

Progression:
This is an ideal course from which to progress onto the CQI Level 5 Diploma in Quality. To achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Quality, students work through 4 set modules and 1 optional module together with a practical workplace project within a Quality environment.
