Truck Mounted, Wheeled or Tracked

• Be able to operate machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice.
• Site and operate machine safely in response to given tasks and signals, using outriggers where applicable
• Load and unload machine off a road transporter where applicable
• Recognise defects and hazards that affect crane motions
• Have an understanding of responsibilities under current relevant legislation.

All personnel required to operate Mobile Cranes.
Candidates are required to hold LGV licence for Truck Mounted and Wheeled Cranes.

• Automatic safe load indicator

Highly participative with practical demonstrations highlighted by use of PowerPoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

1-10 days depending upon experience.

Eligible companies may be able to claim grants toward their Training as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.

Intermediate Certificate, Scottish Progression Award, CPCS Trained Operator Card, RTITB or Theory & Practical.
