Create your very own Willow Sculpture - to take away!

Have you ever dreamt of kindling your creative talents and creating a sculpture? With this highly interactive workshop, your dream will come true. Withies - which are light, springy willow sticks - have been used for centuries to make baskets and furniture but only recently to create wonderful sculptures that seem to have a life of their own being created from natural material.

During the session, you will be taught some very simple techniques to build your sculpture. Then your imagination can take off as you make anything you want from a blue whale to the Forth Bridge. All of you, even children from as young as 7, can learn what to do very quickly and have oodles of fun while you create your dream sculpture. The session is as challenging as you wish it to be. Fledgling sculptors will be amazed at what they can achieve and more experienced artists can push themselves to create exacting models.

Not only do you learn to love being a sculptor, you get to take your masterpiece home with you as a lasting and cherished reminder of your afternoon.
