This course is designed to give you the skills you need to work in the IT professions. It focuses on some general IT skills as well as developing a creative approach towards computing. You will study a wide range of IT related topics which will include Computer Systems, Web Design, Multimedia and Games Design, E commerce, computer Animation, Software Designing and Development, Computer networks and Advanced spread sheet skills.

About this course

You will need to achieve four C grades or above at GCSE or equivalent of which maths and English should be included.

Course programme

On successful completion, you can progress to careers in the IT industry such as IT Technical Support, Software Development and Database Administration. There is also the option to progress onto relevant Level 3 IT courses as such the Advanced Creative IT, with the opportunity to achieve a qualification equivalent to three A2 Levels and progression onto university level courses.

  • Certificate/Diploma in Financial Studies

  • AAT Accounting Certificate (Level 2) or Accounting Diploma (Level 3)

  • Guest lectures from business leaders within our partner organisations and workshops to help expand your business knowledge and awareness
