Content / Overview:
This course provides a practical specialist qualification in the field of film and TV production and is equivalent to two A Levels. It is made up of 12 units and includes pre-production techniques, shooting, lighting, editing, sound-recording and writing for television and film. As part of your studies, you will develop your studio skills and create a wide variety of media products, ranging from documentary and corporate video production to animation and advertising. You will generate an excellent technical portfolio. You must be creative, reliable, and interested in learning new technical skills. You will be working on your own on some assignments and in a production team with your peers on others, so it is essential that you can demonstrate commitment and a strong work ethic.
