This Build your own MA (BYOMA) short course is aimed primarily at journalists and media professionals with a passion for developing writing skills to tell original real-life stories. This short course offers a practical exploration of approaches and the techniques used to produce creative non-fiction.
You will be expected to read and write creative non-fiction and develop your own professional journalistic practices, and will have the opportunity to reflect on your writing techniques and explore debates surrounding the use of literary journalism in print, online, and broadcasting. You will also be encouraged to draw on your own work experiences in developing your writing skills and themes.
