Course programme

This course focuses upon group dynamics theory and a number of creative techniques to use when working with groups of young people. During the day, participants will have a chance to practise some of the techniques and begin to relate to their own work setting by starting to develop resources based on the techniques.

The course covers:

  • Group dynamics theory
  • Practising some group work techniques
  • Working with groups using the written word, visuals, drama and physical activity
  • Planning how to use the techniques in the work setting

Each participant will receive a copy of our publication Wavelength.
