Creative Theatre Production, BA - 2016/17

The Performing Arts degree programmes are three-year courses. Specialising in a Creative Theatre Production pathway allows students to follow a core of modules intended to prepare them for a variety of creative and supporting roles in the modern Performing Arts industry from performance lighting and sound to set and costume design to more esoteric areas such as performance art installation. They should leave with the confidence that they have the knowledge and ability to start making inroads into this country's lively, varied and challenging creative Performing Arts industry. We want to turn out graduates who are capable and motivated, who can discover ways of creating their own working practices and can operate successfully within an industry environment. We aim to produce people who can think and work independently, meet deadlines, and develop their own work creatively from whatever initial brief they are given.
