Course Aims:
To learn more about how to plan, edit and review produce a short story.

Course Content:
We will be reading a variety of short stories, including your favourites and deciding what we like about them and how the writers achieve this success, and producing accurately-written creative works.
There will be opportunities to workshop your writing with supportive group writers.

Progression:
level 2 Creative Writing.

Awarding Body:
OCN

Exam:
Assessment is informal and ongoing. Students will produce a portfolio of work showing completion / evidence of given objectives which are assessed by the tutor and verified by an external moderator.

Level 1

Duration:
2 hours for 15 weeks.
