CSCS Black Card (non-NVQ Profiled Route) Construction Managers

Academy Training Group is an accredited construction training provider delivering a range of Construction qualifications. The CSCS Fast-track (Non-NVQ) Profiled Route has been designed and introduced in response to the demand for a route to a CSCS card for highly competent Commercial Construction Site Supervisors and Managers without doing an NVQ. This route is only available for Construction Site Managers (black card) and Construction Site Supervisors (gold card). Below is a quick comparison between the NVQ Route and the Non-NVQ Route in achieving your CSCS Black or Gold Cards.

NVQ Route
On-site Assessment - Candidate needs to be visited on site.
Time Taken - Assessments usually take between 6 to 9 months or more
Cost - Between £1800 to £3000 depended on the qualification and work location

Non-NVQ Route - NO assessor visits required on site. Distance learning with telephone and email support, all supporting learning materials supplied.
Time Taken - Can be completed in 4 weeks
Cost - Only £999 fixed cost (incudes of £300 CSCS Card Application Fee)

This route requires applicants to complete an Evidence Sheet to provide an occupational specific profile against an agreed list of competencies which reflect the relevant National Occupational Standard for a Construction Supervisor or Construction Manager.

Below are topics covered for a CSCS Gold card application. Each topic will have 2 to 3 questions asked which can easily be answered using your experience of working as a Construction Site Supervisor.

Again please be reminded that this route does not require candidate to do an NVQ and does not include any NVQ or Diploma qualification. You will only receive the CSCS Gold card on achievement. The card is valid for 5 years and they are renewable upon application subject to passing the appropriate Health and Safety test.

Currently we are offering this service for £999 per candidate payable in advance. Price includes initial induction to the new CSCS Profiled Route, all support materials, ongoing telephonic/email support, CSCS Card application fee (Currently £300) and your Black or Gold CSCS card on achievement.

As an accredited training provider we can also deliver the NVQ Route so if you wish to go down that route we can also offer On Site Assessments leading to a recognized Diploma NVQ Qualification. All assessments happen on site at your place of work. Please find below our current charge rates for NVQ’s for qualification that may be of your interest. It is important to choose the right qualification that matches your current experience as any NVQ qualifications require you to be assessed for competency.
