Working Men's College offer this course as part of the Skills for Jobs programme, which means that this is a funded course. Please contact us to confirm your eligibility for this course. CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others. They cover hundreds of occupations so whatever you do in construction there will be a card that is suitable for you.

What previous knowledge/experience are required?
No previous experience is required for a basic CSCS card. There are other CSCS cards for other professions such as plumbing.

Level 1

What will the course cover and what can I expect to do by the end of it?
