CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry.
CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.
The Scheme keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved, or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.
Most principal contractors and major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold a valid CSCS card.

Course programme
CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents.
CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others. They cover hundreds of occupations so whatever you do in construction there will be a card that is suitable for you.
From July 2014, CSCS Green Cards are for labourers only. In order to apply for the green card, candidates are required to complete a Health and Safety Awareness course. This training and online test can also be completed at our Omagh testing site and is a pre-requisite to completing the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment Test. Or if the candidate has an NVQ, this can be used to apply for the Green Card.
If you require the Health and Safety Awareness, please specify this when making your booking as additional training and testing is necessary.
The CSCS Card allows you to work in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.
