A CSS course that teaches the fundamentals of contemporary web design using only CSS stylesheets for layout — no HTML formatting attributes, no HTML layout tables, no JavaScript/jQuery or similar.

This CSS course covers the core CSS features supported by all common web browsers — including outdated and non-standard browsers like IE7 and IE6.

The main aim of this CSS course is to enable students to understand the underlying concepts and logic of CSS — not just use recipes for common web design tasks. Although it does provide the key recipes and design patterns — it does so with proper explanation of why they work the in te manner they do.
