Introduction to CSS web design with Dreamweaver.
1 day introduction to CSS web page design and XHTML with Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 or Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, available in Birmingham UK.
Intermediate / advanced Macromedia Dreamweaver training course, covering the basics of CSS web design, CSS positioning, formatting of DIV tags with CSS, as well as looking at the CSS code and XHTML code.
Level: intermediate / advanced
Software: Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.
Numbers: One to one or small groups of up to 4 trainees.
Trainees in a group should have the same skill level and the same requirements.
Introduction to CSS web page design & XHTML with Dreamweaver
1 day course outline
The basics of CSS positioning and the formatting of layers and DIV tags with CSS, as well as looking at the CSS code and XHTML code behind the pages.
Adding Div tags to the page, controlling size and position with CSS
Creating CSS navigation with mouseover effects
Editing the XHTML code - the differences between HTML and XHTML
Editing and writing CSS code
Creating a simple CSS web page designs
Validating your CSS and XHTML pages
CSS and browser issues - ways of fixing problems
Macromedia Dreamweaver training and Adobe Dreamweaver training is also available for one or two people at our premises in Cofton Hackett, South Birmingham.
