Course programme

CTLLS is one of three adult teaching qualififcations designed for those teaching or training in the work-based learning sector.

PTLLS is an introductory certificate and is for you if you have no teaching experience or currently work as an NVQ assessor with no group teaching role. DTLLS is the highest of the three qualififcations and is for you if you have a full and varied role teaching adults across a range of courses and are involved in course design.

CTLLS is the middle one of the three qualifications and is for you if you deliver teaching and training to adults but across a limited range of course and do little curriculum design.

The course consists of twenty days of high quality teaching and training spread over twenty weeks with lunch and refreshments provided.
You complete several assignments during the course, are observed delivering teaching on three occasions and need to be delivering about 30 hours of teaching whilst attending the course with us.
On completion you will gain the internationally recognised City and Guilds CTLLS qualification which allows you then to work as a trainer or teacher in adult learning and can allow you to apply for Associate Qualififed Teaching Learning Status with the Institiute For Learning.
