Course programme
The Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector is available at both level 3 and 4. Learning outcomes are the same for each qualification, but learners can complete assessments at either Level 3 or Level 4 depending on the level at which they are able to study. Level 3 involves describing, explaining and some evaluation and referencing.
Level 4 is much more theoretical, and involves the ability to critically analyse, use specific referencing, and carry out detailed reflection and evaluation. The qualification is designed for those in the associate teacher role in an FE College, Adult and Community Learning Centre or Work Based Learning Centre. This course enables you to be an associate teacher.
