Course programme

The NVQ is related directly to your job role and helps you to reflect on your performance at work and review your working practices. It provides a personal development opportunity and enhances efficiency within your organisation. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 42 credits. Completion of the mandatory units will provide 12 credits. The remainder will be achieved by completing a selection of optional units (depending on credit value and rules of combination). Your Assessor will guide you on the selection of appropriate units. Mandatory Units: Demonstrate the understanding of customer service. Demonstrate the understanding of the rules that impact on improvements in customer service. Optional Units: The optional units cover a wide variety of roles within customer service including: communicate effectively with customers, promote additional products or services to customers, make customer service personal, use customer service as an competitive tool, deal with customers using a bespoke software, plan and organise and control customer service operations, resolve customer service problems, process customer service complaints, work with others to improve customer service, promote continuous improvement. Your Assessor will help you to identify the most appropriate units for your individual role.
