Cutting Men's Hair CG Award Level 2

Men's hairdressing and barbering is a specialist skill and is currently in demand with the growth of the men's hairdressing and barbering industry. The Men's City and Guilds cutting award is taught by an experienced barbering specialist and includes theory work, demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Endorsed by Habia, this qualification is a useful addition to your training and could help you progress in your current employment. You may also run your own salon and wish to offer Men's styling and barbering as an additional service.

Typical applicants for this course are qualified hairdressers or working towards a level 2 or 3 hairdressing qualification. You may also be looking to refresh your knowledge in Barbering.

You will train in our professionally run salon under supervision of our barbering expert who will guide you through layering, club cutting, the scissor over comb method, use of clippers and free-hand cutting techniques.
