Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at anybody who wishes to be involved in the dance industry, working in the area of performance, choreography and education. Both commercial and academic needs are met.

What is the course about?
During this course you will have the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge across a broad range of performance areas including: Performing Dance, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Body Maintenance, Circus Skills, Rehearsal

Will I need anything else?
You will be required to purchase appropriate clothing and footwear, but we can help you to purchase these at a reduced price.

How long & often do I attend?
This course is offered as a two year substantial programme and requires attendance of several lectures, practical sessions and workshops per week; additional time will also need to be spent by the students in carrying out project work and to complete research. You will be required to attend for a minimum of 90%. Students will be required to be flexible around performance dates.

How will I be assessed?
For each unit (subject) you will be required to complete 2 assignments and a portfolio of work. The size and format of the assignments will vary according to the subject.

What opportunities will this lead to?
On completion of this course you will be able to move into higher education or you may wish to seek employment in the dance industry.
