What makes Dance at the University of Worcester special? From the thrill of performing to the rewards of sharing dance with others, this HND offers highly practical and intensive training to extend and develop your skills and abilities. You will study contemporary techniques alongside classical ballet, whilst developing a creative approach to dance-making through choreography and the use of digital media. Performance and professionalism are significant themes within the course. Work placements and a detailed exploration of the theories underpinning dance practice equip you with the skills to enter the professional world of the performing arts, whilst designated performance modules provide the opportunity to perform in large-scale venues, working alongside professional choreographers and dance-makers.
