DANCING - IMPROVERS Entry Requirements
Basic steps in all dances (3 terms in beginners) or approximately 30/40 hours of classes.


Description
Further steps and additional figures in popular ballroom and Latin American dances. Good standard of social dancing. Improving rhythm, poise, and footwork.

After completing this course you should be able to:
Dance further steps in popular modern ballroom and Latin American dances. Recognise rhythms, improve poise and footwork.
Course Content
Ballroom Dances - Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot.
Latin American Dances - Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive/Rock 'n' Roll, Samba, Mambo/Salsa.
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.

Observation.
Progression
You may wish to progress on to the Advanced class in subsequent terms.
Materials
An Instruction book (£1.50) is available from the tutor. £1.60 materials charge toward hire of specialist music equipment.
