As you may already know, if members of your staff deal with customer information such as financial records, individual’s circumstances and personal details, they must be aware of the Data Protection Act 1998 and in some cases The Freedom of Information Act 2005.

Your organisation is legally required to demonstrate compliance to these important pieces of legislation.

It’s not about scare mongering, but making sure you are secure.

Non-conformance carries financial penalties but more importantly could damage your organisation’s reputation, customer confidence and incur unnecessary costly management time.

As part of our portfolio of professional development programmes we offer training sessions that provide an overview of current legislation raising understanding and awareness of storing and processing of personal data.

This training programme is typically delivered in English.
Translators can be provided at an additional cost. In order to ensure that there is a good balance of theory, discussion and practical work this course requires a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 delegates.

Smaller and larger groups may be accommodated, subject to further discussion. Please contact dancinglion for more information.
