Dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour
This session will help to develop Learners knowledge of best practice when dealing with anti-social behaviour from a housing and multi-agency approach.
By the end of this course delegates will have:
- Outlined what constitutes anti-social behaviour from a landlord and community perspective.
- Listed private, civil, criminal and multi-agency remedies available to deal with the causes and effects of such behaviour.
- Considered effective review and monitoring mechanisms to ensure best practices are implemented.
- Examined remedies covering applications of ASC/ASBO, injunctions, mediation, evidence gathering and professional witnesses.
- Considered key issues from specific legislation including Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003, Crime and Disorder Act 1998, Protection from Harassment Act 1997, EPA 1990, Housing Acts 1988 & 1996, Human Rights Act 1998 and Disability Discrimination Act 1995 as amended.
