- Legislative Requirements for Individuals with Dementia; Mental Health Act 1983, Community Care Act 1990, Disability Discrimination Act 1995, Human Rights Act 1998, Data Protection Act 1998.
- National Minimum Care Standards Act 2000
- Understand the definition of Dementia
- Covers: signs, symptoms and characteristics of Dementia sufferers
- Person Centred approach
