National Diploma for Dental Nurses
This is the basic dental nursing course which leads to the National Examining Boards ‘National Certificate in
Dental Nursing’. On completion of this course and successful completion of the exam you will be able to register with the GDC as a Dental Care Professional. The course does not involve the tutor coming into the work place or any disruption to the working day. To enrol on this course you have to be working in a dental surgery. The course lasts 14 months. Cost is £760 including exam fee, all materials and tutorial support.
Certificate in Oral Health
The course teaches the theory of oral health and enables you to educate patients, as well as understanding the learning theories involved. The course will enable you to gain the necessary knowledge and expertise to enter for the National Examination (NEBDN) in Oral Health Education. The course lasts 6 months. Cost is £580
including exam fee, all materials and tutorial support.
Certificate in Dental Nursing Sedation
You would gain the cert in dental sedation nursing, which can be used for dental
nurses whom assist and recover patients during dental sedation. You will also
be able to claim verifiable CPD hours towards your registration with the GDC.
The course lasts 6 months. Cost is £580 including exam fee, all materials
and tutorial support.
