Pre-deployment training for Contractors on Deployed Operations

Contractors on Deployed Operations (CONDO) face some of the most demanding environments. Control Risks draws upon more than 30 years' experience working in some of the most hostile regions in the world to develop courses to meet the unique pre-deployment training requirements for CONDO.

About the courses

  • Course content designed to meet fully the Contractor's obligations under DEFCON 697
  • Courses fully tailored to your individual requirements, addressing the concerns that you or your employees may have in relation to any theatre of operations
  • Course duration and location (UK and abroad) to suit your needs
  • Instructors selected for their breadth of knowledge and specific areas of expertise
  • High instructor (both male and female) to participant ratio
  • Realistic, challenging scenarios designed to demonstrate practical responses to a variety of situations and increase participants' confidence
  • Interactive training through a combination of lectures, role plays, discussion exercises, and outdoor exercises
  • Up-to-date and topical, country-specific briefings from Control Risks' analysts

Flexible course content

Core course content will cover the CONDO training requirements as required by the MOD and as specified by the DMA, in order to meet the obligations under DEFCON 697 and DEFSTAN 05-129. However the precise format, location and timing of the courses are flexible and can be tailored to participants' requirements.
Control Risks can run a standard 3 day CONDO course each month at our dedicated training facilities, but can also offer contractors the flexibility of being able to run courses of between 2-4 days wherever and whenever they are required. This can be in the UK, in the Joint Operational Area (JOA), or in a third country.
