Intermediate sessions cover the beginners elements and:

consistency, orientation and proportion,
branding, publication guidelines, existing styles and schemes, refinements to styles and schemes,
publication media: web, document and multimedia, and
local guidelines: templates, house style, branding, publication guidelines, existing styles and schemes, refinements to styles and schemes.

Advanced sessions cover the intermediate elements, and:
organising information, size, white space, columns, consistency, orientation, proportion, balance, symmetry,
templates, house style, branding, publication guidelines, existing styles and schemes, refinements to styles,
new specially defined styles and schemes - web, document and multimedia, and
planning, organising and combining content for the publication(s) so that it is ready for editing and formatting including, copyright constraints and across different software.
