All companies and other organisations in the UK are actively being encouraged to adopt a more environmentally friendly management policy. The Department of the Environment and Rural Affairs has launched an initiative to train those working in land-based industries in environmental awareness management.
This fully recognised Distance Learning Certificate in Environmental Awareness is suitable for both individual learners and those in a work situation. The course provides learners with the understanding, skills and knowledge of the main environmental issues that organisations face and instructs students how to carry out an environmental audit in their own organisation, how to manage scarce environmental resources and how to reduce the risk of pollution.
