Developing Yourself as a Team Leader

While leadership is easy to explain, it is not so easy to practise. Leadership is about behaviour first and skills second. This one day course will go over the roles, functions and responsibilities of an effective Team Leader. It is aimed at developing people to seek, accept and respond positively to feedback on personal performance and to improve workplace performance.

The course will include:

ü Limits of authority and accountability, and how these are defined.

ü Personal skills and abilities for effective team leading.

ü Using reflective learning skills to improve performance.

ü Areas of strength and possible improvement.

ü Ways of obtaining feedback from others.

ü Receiving and responding positively to feedback.

ü Personal action planning techniques.
