Gudrun Leitz is a founder member and joint owner of CLISSETT WOOD and has been offering courses from its purpose built workship since 1995. With its ten acres of mature ash and oak with hazel and sweet chestnut coppice, Clissett Wood is a place of great beauty and tranquillity.

Course programme

During the annual Development Weeks, now in this seventeenth year, we will wake the workshop up from its winter sleep during Development Week I. This year we will build new equipment and storage facilities for the new workshop and improve terracing and landscaping around it. The main project will be a covered walk way between the workshop and the kitchen as well as new timbered roofs for two greenwood huts. These will involve some hard work, possibly in the cold and wet, but should prove a fascinating experience and there will be plenty of fun and good company.

Start Time: 10:00 am

The fee covers the cost of all food with superb lunches, and camping is free.

Additional information

Payment options: Deposit £25 Camping Pitches at £3.00 per night, basic greenwood shelters for those without tents £5.00.
