On this Build your own MA (BYOMA) short course you will create a distribution and marketing plan for a feature film, making your idea commercially viable in the digital world. You’ll learn how to balance creativity and business in devising a realistic strategy.
This course takes your idea from being words on a page to a realistic business proposition. If you want to develop the professional skills and knowledge for the next generation of producers, this is the course for you.
You will identify a digital feature film project which has been developed to draft script stage and you will then create a distribution and marketing plan for the project, through a process of research appropriate to making your idea commercially viable in the digital domain.
You'll learn how to achieve a balance between creative and business imperatives in devising a realistic strategy, reflecting on your interaction as entrepreneurs within the digital environment.
