Course overview Are you passionate about the beauty industry? Can you see yourself working on a cruise liner or owning your own salon? Do you want a job role that's front facing? Our NVQ Level 3 builds on the knowledge and skills you have gained from the Level 2 course to give you a deeper insight into the industry. Our course will develop your therapist skills to include a range of facial and body treatments, alongside aspects of salon management, administration and health and safety, to enable you to meet the high expectations of the industry. Alongside self-tanning and spa skills, you will learn how to carry out facial and body electrotherapy treatments, epilation, body massage and Indian head massage. You will also learn how to manage the reception desk, promote products and contribute to the financial effectiveness of a business. Entry requirements You will have a reasonable standard of GCSEs in a range of subjects and an NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy. As part of your interview process, you will be asked to prepare a research project that displays your knowledge of the sector and demonstrates your commitment to the course.
