Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies (PgDBS) Leading to Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Top Up)

This course has been designed on good foundation and rigorous practical training in the respective areas.

Pedagogy of the Program:

Students successfully completing the course will be awarded a recognised degree. Students will then be encouraged to attempt for Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) exams by offering them the memberships of ISACA on our own behalf. ISACA® assumed a global leadership in establishing and updating a model curriculum to help universities and Schools to incorporate the model framework in their programmes and courses. Taking advantage of the flexibility provided in this curriculum, we managed to address the need in the most efficient way possible.

COURSE DETAILS

The course has a flexible modular structure and consists of eight core subjects and a Project. A particular emphasis is given in achieving an optimal balance of theory and practice; students will be given exposure to leading-edge software and assurance practices

Following successful completion of the SIRM Pg Diploma in Business Studies, students will be able to be considered for admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree with a UK University, Students who have completed the PGD-BS can be accepted onto the MBA with advanced standing and will require to successfully completing 3 taught modules and an MBA Dissertation". LCE will teach PgD in Business Studies which includes first 5 subjects (901 to 905). Upon the successful completion, students will have to study 3 modules (906-907-908) and Dissertation through distance learning under the supervision of the University. All students will be admitted on merit basis
