Course overview Do you often find yourself dismantling objects then putting them back together to see how they work? Are you a natural problem solver who enjoys hands-on learning? If the answer is yes , then engineering could be your perfect career. You will learn how to work safely and effectively, how to interpret engineering information such as orthographic drawings and how to use maths to solve different engineering problems. You will also study a unit on Electrical and Mechanical Science. By the end of the course, you will have developed a sound understanding of different mechanical and electrical components and will be able to identify the properties and characteristics of a range of materials. Entry requirements Applicants need 4 GCSE’s grade A-D (or relevant level 1 qualification) to include English and Maths and Science.
