Overview
On this introductory course, you will learn about face painting, applying photographic make-up and body art. In addition you will learn how to colour and dress hair and the importance of good health and safety. On completion of this course, you will have the confidence to apply your knowledge and skills.

Entry Requirements
Minimum of 2 GCSE D grades or above, including English and maths. You must have an interest in the make-up industry and must demonstrate an ability to communicate and follow the professional standards set by the awarding bodies. You must be prepared to study the complete study programme, this includes maths and English and employability, enrichments and tutorials.

Course Duration
One year – Full time.

Progression
Level 2 Diploma's in Manicure, Pedicure and Waxing, Beauty Specialists, Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Diploma's in Massage and Electrotherapy Treatments, Nail Treatments and Theatrical, Special Effects, Hair and Media Make-up.
