Specialising in styling and dressing hair, consultation, colour and cutting techniques to advanced level, you will ready to work in industry with confidence. Monitoring health and safety in the salon and learning how to promote products help to support business practices and will make you more employable. You will also learn about creativity and colour correction in the all-round hairdressing qualification.

Entry Requirements
Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing or 4 GCSEs at grade C or above to include maths and English or equivalent.

Course Duration
One year – Full time.

Course Assessment
Once you have completed all your portfolios of evidence, assignments and underpinning knowledge, you will have a final practical test carried out by the Internal Assessor. The External Verifier will visit and review a sample of evidence as well as observing general overall skills of everyone on the course.

Progression
Level 3 Barbering, Level 4 Salon Management, Employment ; Hairdressing Salons, Freelance Stylist or as an Account Manager.
