Overview
If you are already completing one of our Entry level qualifications, this qualification lets you add skills in construction to your study programme. You will gain a range of introductory skills in construction, to help you decide which course would suit your needs best when you choose to progress to a higher level at Stockport College.

Entry Requirements
You will be required to be completing other Entry Level qualifications at Stockport College, to complete this course. Please speak to the Foundation Learning team for more information.

Course Duration
One year – part time, as part of a full time programme of study.

Skills and Benefits
This course is an additionality to a full time entry level or level 1 foundation learning programme. Please speak to the Foundation Learning team for more information.

Mandatory Units
Units include: Employment and training in the construction industry. Skills required to apply for training and work in the construction industry.

Course Assessment
Written and practical assessment will be assessed throughout the course. You will be given regular feedback from your tutors.

Progression
On successful completion of your full time course and this additional qualification, you may wish to study at Level 1; we have a range of courses on offer. Your course tutor will advise you on which course would best suit your needs and career choices.
