Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for you if you have achieved a Level 1 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and want to progress your skills for a career in the industry. It's also suitable for you if you have prior knowledge and experience of working in the Motor Vehicle Repair and Maintenance industry, your qualifications are no longer valid or you don't have relative qualifications. The course is both practical and theory based and is held at our Lockoford Lane campus which has purpose built garages in which to gain hands on experience. If you're not progressing from Level 1 you'll need an assessment to identify what level of study you are currently working at for English and Maths as well as recognising simple engineering applications and principles. You will need a pair of overalls and safety shoes (steel toe cap).
