This diploma equips individuals with the full range of skills necessary to become effective middle managers through to director level. It provides the practical knowledge and management techniques, leading to an understanding and appreciation of what is required to become successful and efficient in a more senior management role. The qualification is designed to improve performance within the organisation through a strong focus on real life experience and specific job roles.

The diploma has been developed to improve confidence and give individuals the skills and knowledge that are required to develop an effective management style. Motivating teams, understanding change, planning finances and making organisational decisions form the operational and strategic approach of this diploma.

It is advisable to first complete the Level 3 First Line Management certificate. However, this is not mandatory and completion of the diploma is based on operational learning and strategic modules.
