Course Description
This course is designed to support initiatives in providing training and assessment to supply a competent workforce to meet the requirements for non-Domestic Energy Assessors. The course is for those possessing but not limited to, a basic knowledge andunderstanding of construction, building services and/or energy who wish to extend their knowledge. It is also suitable for those studying in preparation for employment in activities where they will work autonomously as a non-Domestic Energy Assessor.

Entry Requirements
You need to hold a Level two Key Skills qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent, or be willing to undertake a diagnostic test at Level two.

  • Prepare, undertake and produce non-Domestic Energy Assessments

Duration: 18 weeks

Attendance Modes: Eve

Assessment: Candidates will be assessed on Module 1 by 2 GOLA online multiple choice tests. Module 2 will be assessment-based over 3 energy performance certificates, with grading criteria of Pass or Refer, and the production of a portfolio and method statements.

Progression Routes: Candidates can progress into employment, training in the sector or move into Higher Education, or onto commercial energy assessing at Level 4.
