Diploma of Music

Overview At a glance The Diploma of Music is available by distance education and supported through CQUni's Regional Conservatorium partnerships with Murray Conservatorium (Albury), Riverina Conservatorium (Wagga Wagga), Mitchell Conservatorium (Bathurst, Lachlan, Lithgow) and at our Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM), at CQUni Mackay. You will be supported throughout your study and undertake one-on-one instrumental tuition with highly qualified regional conservatorium staff in classical, jazz or popular music. To gain entry into this course you will be required to audition. Study modes On-Campus, Distance Courses/units 8/48 Availability Mackay,  Distance Education  Duration 1 year full-time; 2 years part-time Intake dates March, July QTAC Code MKY: 860911; Distance: 860915 **   Upon successful completion of this course you may be eligible to apply for advanced standing for the first year in the Bachelor of Music and you will not be required to audition for entry into the Bachelor of Music.
