Course programme

This nine month course covers all aspects of reflexology's history, reflexology theory and the anatomy and physiology required for a reflexogist to give individual treatments. Students are taught how to treat their clients holistically, taking into account any illnesses or stressess they may suffer from.

If you are looking for either a new career or would just like some extra income, this course is the one for you. As one of the fastest growing complementary therapies there is increasing demand for trained professional therapists in both the Private and Public sectors. More and more Reflexologists are now working in the NHS as well as in many private complementary clinics. With Reflexologists charging their clients between £25 and £40 for a one hour private treatment, it is possible to earn a good living working as a Reflexologist.

Why Train with Calming Influences?

Calming Influences was originally accredited by the AoR and now uses VTCT as their awarding body.

Once you complete the course you can join both the AoR and the CNHC.

The aim of the school is to train Reflexologists to the highest possible standards, giving them a thorough understanding of the therapy and practice of reflexology and its place within the whole culture of complementary medicine. Our students are taught the practical skills required to provide safe and effective treatments as well as the underpinning knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

We aim to produce Reflexologists who exhibit a consistently high level of professionalism within their practice and are ambassadors for this beneficial therapy.
