DIRECT WORK WITH CHILDREN (1 DAY COURSE)

ABOUT THE COURSE

This practise based course has been designed for those who work directly with children in a range of settings. The course materials will provide a guide for practitioners and managers linking with policies and good practice guidelines. We see children as service users in their own right, and focus on the skills needed to work with them.

The course is a one day course, however it can be provided as a two day course in conjunction with our Esteem Builders Course. We address the main issues involved with working with children and provide a range of methods of intervention and assessment. This course is interesting, fun and focuses on enhancing practice. We encourage respect for children and recognise that children themselves have a lot to teach us. A course not to be missed!
