Who is this course for?
The course is intended for directors, senior management and persons with strategic responsibility for determining and implementing health and safety management.

What is it about?
The course aims to provide directors and senior management with a clear understanding of the moral, business and legal case for the proactive management of health and safety.
The course will reflect the guidelines in the Institute of Directors/Health and Safety Commission’s ‘Leading health and safety at work’ (INDG417).
The requirements of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 will be covered, together with other relevant legislation. The importance of integrating health and safety management into other business management systems will be explored together with the importance of behavioural based safety.
