Course programme

The course is made up of one unit which looks at the following:
- key features of a culture which promotes equality and values diversity
- Importance of the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity for an effective workplace
- the behaviour appropriate to the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity
- how to actively help others in the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity
- how to contribute effectively to promoting equality and valuing diversity

The course will be assessed by completing 30 multiple-choice questions within one hour. The answers will be marked externally by EDI.

What can l do on completion?
This course provides under pinning knowledge of diversity and equality. Knowledge gained from this course can also be used as evidence of prior learning for other qualifications such as NVQ's and higher education courses. This qualification will sit well providing competency of equality and diversity issues.
